Our team

Owner, Bob Meyers

I was trained by the Overhead Door Company of Houston in 1979. In 1983, when I was 27 years old, I left and went to work for a mom and pop garage door repair company. The owners were an older couple, Tom and Granny. They treated me like family. (Tom and Granny are in their 80's now. We still talk on the phone from time to time.)

When they retired in the mid 1990's, I was sad to see them go. One of their sons took over the company for the next 8 years, then offered to let me buy the business in 2003. My wife and I decided to buy the business and run it just like Tom and Granny did-a personal touch and honest, top-notch service.

I believe in building long-term relationships with my customers. I just did a job for a customer whose family we have been servicing for 30 years. Over the years, we've done work for three generations of that family.

I love my job, and I always look forward to going to work every day. There is nothing I would rather do.
